In Japanese cuisine, sushi is vinegared rice, usually topped with other ingredients, including fish, various meats, and vegetables. Outside of Japan, sushi is sometimes misunderstood to mean the raw fish itself, or even any fresh raw-seafood dishes. In Japan, sliced raw fish alone is called sashimi and is distinct from sushi, as sashimi is the raw fish component, not the rice component. The word sushi itself comes from an archaic grammatical form of a word that is no longer used in other contexts; literally, “sushi” means “it’s sour”.

  I’ve decided to add something new to UGF. On my right sidebar underneath “Recent Posts” you will find the Daily Finds box. Here I will update every day with a new product or gift I have found online, unless for some reason I am not able to make it to my computer, that doesn’t really happen, I’m a nerd

I have also decided to create a “Daily Finds Archive” which will feature every product I have listed in the Daily Finds box starting with the most recent. You can find the archive at the top of the page located in the tabs. Obviously right now, this is new so their is only 1 thing there, however after a year there will be 365 different gifts!

Although the fish bowl in the picture to the left is stunning and definitely the most original fishbowl I have ever seen, not in a million years would I ever pay the amount it is selling for, not even if I was a billionaire and it was considered chump change.

This Steuben Glass limited edition fish bowl, a total of 50 exist, is a whopping $25,000! Yes, there is supposed to be three zeros on that! If I had $25,000 dollars just lying around, I would probably donate it to an animal shelter instead of my five dollar beta, because honestly, I highly doubt he knows the difference between the Steuben Glass bowl and the $25 bowl I found online.

I’m excited to announce UGF’s brand new Online Shopping Directory! I have spent the last couple days creating this so it will be up in time for Christmas! I have a ton of websites, gifts and other things that I would like to go over for Christmas but there really isn’t enough time in the day to write that many posts! So my solution to this problem was to add all of the websites I plan to go over into one large shopping directory. Here you will find multiple stores organized by category so you yourself can browse and find unique gifts.
