Talk about an ice breaker! This large mold, looking like a luge course at the Winter Olympics, fills with water, pops into the freezer for 24 hours to thoroughly freeze, and creates the most-talked-about party centerpiece in years. Drink shots poured in the top of the two chutes not only chill on their way downhill but can be raced against each other to see which one spills into the waiting glass first. Measuring 17 by 14-1/2 inches, the luge consists of a translucent-as-ice (more…)

Great gift idea, but flimsy product
I got this luge as a birthday gift…So excited to ry it out at the next party – definitely takes a few days to freeze and takes up a lot of space in the freezer so be prepared…
GREAT way to get the party started! everyone wants a turn, and forget about a glass at the bottom. Really should give it a solid 2 days to freeze, takes a long time to melt, of course, you really only need it to function for about an hour before the dysfunction at your party will set in!!!!!!!!

introduced tons of fun
This product was introduced to many people and provided entertainment. It will be continued to be used at social gatherings!
Great item for partys. My freinds drink right from the luge. None of this shot glass stuff. The only complaint I have is that you have to use cold alcohol or it will still come out warm. Other than that ROCK ON!!!

Fun, But It’s a One Time Use Product
I read the review by someone else that warned it was a one-time use product, so I was really careful when I dumped the ice block out of the mold.
I am surprised that this product made it to the market. It is a great idea, but the end result is extremely dissappointing. The first luge I ordered was delivered broken in the box. Amazon promptly sent a new luge and it shattered after the first use. The flimsy plastic that it is composed of does not stand up to the freezing and thawing. You are better off ordering an ice luge from your local ice company.

Great concept – poor execution
I just can’t get behind this. It’s a great idea but just too hard to use. No thought in the construction “yeah, we’ll make a plastic box to fill with water”.

Ice Luge
Cracked when trying to remove it from plastic freezing case. Would like to attempt again though

Disaster
There is no guide or spout at the end of the path and the drink ends up going all over the place. It defintiely never makes it into a shot glass and if you drink it right from the…

works well until it cracks
worked great for a few times–then it broke. don’t use hot water on the plastic when it’s frozen–it’ll crack. lukewarm is the furthest i’d go.

Fun, but only if you skip the shot glasses
I bought one of these at Urban Outfitters, and thought how fun it would be to have an ice luge at a party!

Do some of you have a clue?
I realize they show shot glasses at the bottom of this thing in the photo..so for all of you complaining that there is no place to put the glasses and no lip or funnel for the…
