Assembling this wall mounted power station was super easy. It didn’t take long at all and mounting it to the wall was simple too. You will need a drill to drill holes for the drywall anchors. I didn’t use the tool hanger that was included because I already have one. I mainly wanted this for the power station so I could have a place to plug all my chargers in. I love it! All of my chargers and batteries are in one place, and the cords aren’t hanging around, and there are enough outlets for each of my chargers as well. It looks nice too. Great product, very pleased.

This item does provide a great solution to all the power tools and batteries many of us have laying around our garage. The power strip has many, many ports, which is a great convenience. Most battery chargers will lay neatly in front of the power strip, simplifying organization.

Power tools hang from a separate piece at the bottom. The pictures were a bit misleading here in that the piece that the power tools hang from is an entirely distinct piece. That isn’t really a downside for me as it allows me to tailor the space to my exact needs. The only catch is it does mean you need to mount two separate things, so will take a bit longer.

There was a slight product defect, which was easily remedied. There is supposed to be a flange extending from the power strip that would allow you to mount it to the top of the large structure. This seemed to be there, but totally not sticking out. Rather it was flush with the side of the power strip, meaning there is no way to use it.

So instead, I attached the strip with black zip ties. This was fine, and no big deal. But it was a defect, so 4 stars instead of 5.

Otherwise, looks and works as intended and saves me a lot of space and time.

This rack is easy to install, but the instructions are not great. The good news is that you don’t really need them.
What you need to know is that the side, screwdriver holder need to go where you are putting the power-bar.
They have holes that secure the power-bar to the shelf.
Also, the bottom wire tool holder does not attach to the upper shelf unit. It is an independent piece.
The power-bar wire seems reasonably thick.
I mounted the upper and lower wire racks upside down. This provides a lip to hold your batteries.
You have a choice of what direction you want to assemble these wire shelves.
It does come with some small screws and drywall anchors.
I recommend that you use larger screws. Batteries are heavy, and you tend to push down on the battery when placing it on the charger, therefore the screws need to be able to take some weight.

    ???

Cheap seeming tool organizer, but it works okay. No surge protection in there for your charging tools so be wary of that.

This is an excellent solution for tools, and so awesome that it has a charger included! Very stoked on this as we’ve been trying to organize our garage this summer and this was one of the huge helpers for that! Recommend!!

I got this product to help organize my garage a little. One problem I had was with my battery operated tools. It seemed like the tools, chargers, and batteries were always getting into a mess on my workbench. I got this to solve that problem and it did. This is a lightweight unit that was easy to assemble and mount. I really like the fact that it has a power bar with it so I can plug in my chargers. This unit seems well built for being so lightweight. I’m glad I got this and it has held up very well so far!

As others have said already, this tool organizer is built out of smaller diameter steel than should have been utilized for what this is supposed to suspend. It will do, it is steel after all, but it won’t be as effortless a solution as thicker gauge steel parts would have been. The hardware is also a little inadequate, as well as the directions telling you how to assemble this whole product. It does actually specify in the instructions the proper way to assemble, but in a way that needs to be clearer so the user can understand this is the only way to assemble it.
Other than the general quality and attention to detail in this product being lower than perhaps it ought to be, it does what it should, store handheld power tools, their chargers/batteries, and includes a convenient charging station screwed onto it. Every part of it is functional, and it is a good value when considering the price, just beware when storing especially hefty cordless power tools like oscillating multi tools, angle grinders, they are going to be too much, but drills and impact drivers and other hand tools should be fine.

My wife was constantly bickering about my tool batteries being scattered around the house in different states of charge and use, so decided do get a shelf to put them all in one area. This charging station shelf is well made and fairly easy to put together, but I will mention to pay attention to orientation of the key slots on side pieces to hang shelf on wall. The first side I installed upside down since instructions didn’t stress importance of orientation. After turning it back right and reinstalling sides, the rest was fairly easy. Shelf came with everything needed to assemble except for Phillips screwdriver to orientate power strip brackets and mounting on the wall. The power strip I installed sideways since I mounted shelf about head high and I didn’t want to guess on which way to insert plugs. The brackets give you numerous options on position needed to install. There’s a lot of areas and hooks to store tools, chargers, and batteries. The only thing I would like to see improved is a better way to route cord for power strip. As it is now it just kind of dangles over side of shelf and rides on a sort of sharp bracket piece. I might modify it by drilling access hole through shelf and adding a protective rubber grommet which shouldn’t be too hard to do. Other than that small annoyance, it is a well built solid shelf that will hold up great and keep the boss off my back. Really a great deal for the asking price.
