I bought this for my roommate for Christmas because she loves drinking wine. The product itself works pretty well. We buy cheap wine and can’t tell the difference between it being aerated or not, but it will keep an already cold drink cool while you’re drinking it. The package says something about putting it in a bottle of red wine to keep it room temp, but the gel melts almost immediately. We don’t drink a lot of wines that require a cork, either, so it’s not as necessary. Would I gift it again to someone who drinks a lot of wine? For sure! Is it that necessary for college-aged adults on a budget? Not so much.

I have friends who are real wine connoisseurs and have all the gadgets, but I took a chance on this one because I never saw one at their house, and it’s the kind of item you could have more than one of if you have many guests and/or parties. Well, they didn’t have it, and they loved it. One of the best gifts I ever gave them.

Nice idea but not really effective. It makes a warm wine slightly less warm and keeps cooled wine cool a bit longer. Especially in a half full bottle the Corkcicle doesn’t do anything any more.

I ordered these for Christmas for others and myself. I used mine in a bottle of Chardonnay and it did not fit- the bumps on the product are too big to fit the neck of the wine bottle. In fact it cracked and I had the liquid ooze out. Embarrassed that I gave a product that does not work well to others at holiday. Returned the one I had and the company is saying they never got the product. Sorry- like to write positive reviews but I need to let others my experience with this product and company this not good. Consider carefully before ordering.
