These are amazing. The look is modern and they fit nicely in your hand. They have full length tang. They are so sharp. They were used to cut the thinnest slices of turkey I’ve ever seen. They can be put in the dishwasher and clean up looking brand new again. They come in a block which holds them and keeps them together in one spot. It comes with the sharpest chicken scissors ever. They balance well and are as easy to use as other knives.

These Nanfang Brothers knives are super sharp. I can’t believe how easy they cut through produce. I have a set of Farberware knifes that I can’t stand, as they dull quickly. I think these new knives will retain their sharpness. The knives are also great looking from the handle to the blade. The handles are shaped different than any knives that I’ve used before. The fat portion of the handle is rotated 90 degrees. This seems to make the knives easier to hold and more ergonomic. The block for the steak knives is removeable from the main block. This makes is easy to transport just the steak knives to the table. I do have one annoyance with this set. The knives drop almost straight down into the block. Well, there is an angle, but just not enough of an angle. These are placed under my upper kitchen cabinets, and I can’t remove the longer knives without hitting the cabinet. I wish these knives went into the block at more of an angle, like 45 degrees, so that they would clear the cabinet. I’ll need to pull the block out from under the cabinet when I want to use it.

While I got these on Vine so far they’re a great deal. I’ve used them for a while and there’s no rust nor any signs of wear. The blades hold up a decent edge and aren’t dulling too fast. I loved the scissors included, that’s something that you need in the kitchen more than you expect.
The laser etched Damascus pattern is obvious but it looks good regardless. Real Damascus is very labor intensive and expensive and the benefit is harder steel. Modern steel blends achieve this, a laser can etch the look, and you get the best of both worlds with modern steel blends.
I’m quite happy, this is a beautiful set of knives. I’m impressed and it’s comparable in price to other sets (but this one is beautiful).

They were well packaged & came in a timely manner. Not only is it an attractive set of knives, but they are sharp too. Love that they came with a knife sharpener, that is part of the block. Shears too. They grip nicely & are easy to work with. Slicing & cutting is a breeze. Has any knife you might need in the kitchen. Easy cleanup. The part of the block with steak knives disconnects, so you can place on your buffet or island as needed for serving, if you choose. It’s been over 2 decades since I’ve updated my knives & have to say I am impressed. The block as a whole takes up a little more room than my old set, but they are more attractive as a whole. I would definitely recommend this set.

I ordered these without much expectation, other than I wanted to try to find a newer set than the one that I currently have had for over twenty years. I was pleasantly surprised by these. The package they arrived in protected the knives extremely well from any type of shipping damages. Most of the knives have a serrated edge but they somehow can still be sharpened when needed. I can’t really explain how the serrated edge works, but it has a smooth cutting edge at the same time. The weight of the knives feel really good in the hand and they also look extremely nice sitting out on my kitchen counter. This is a really nice knife set and I am extremely happy with it so far.

I am a fine knife novice. I tend to get cheap ceramic knife sets, because they’re sharp with little effort. I was really excited to try a set of capable metal knives. Now, please–I don’t know anything about metal craftsmanship or if this is “real” Damascus steel or anything like that… I just know that these are some of the sharpest knives I’ve ever used. The weight of each knife is well-balanced, and the handles are easy to hold. The size and shape of each knife is great for its purpose–I’ve used all but the bread knife so far, and each has performed well. I adore the Santoku and the paring knife especially. If I had one thing to complain about, it’s that these nice sharp knives are going to force me to replace my cutting boards more often!

There is a lot to like about this knife set, but first I want to say up front that these are not damascus. They are etched.
That being said, these are beautiful knives. The selection of blades is very good and they are extremely sharp. I believe they will maintain their edge well. The knife block is nice and I appreciate how it separates for the steak knives to be used separately. The handles are smooth and feel good in the hand and the bolster is comfortable to hold when chopping. Overall these knives are excellent. 4 stars only because they aren’t true damascus.
