The metal is thin but strong and doesn’t bend at all. The lettering appears to be laser engraved, but the product listing doesn’t specifically say. I am hopeful that it will last without the lettering wearing off. My kids call one of their grandmothers Gigi, so this is a perfect gift for them to give her.

I wanted this so that my grand daughter could give it to my mother which is her great grand mother and she calls her Gi Gi. However, the key chain is entirely to small. It’s actually tiny. My mother wouldn’t be able to read it with our without glasses. I barely could see the inscription. Nice concept but the key chain needs to be much larger in my opinion and preference. Its smaller than 2 quarters side by side
