I bought this because of the bar that goes across the bottom of the stand so it would hold my favorite cookbook which is quite small and it fits perfectly. It’s also very cute and matches my kitchen decor, Definitely giftable,

This recipe book holder is super cute, I love the conversations on it but I would not order it again and here’s why. The thing does not stay upright. It falls down allll the time. The backing that’s supposed to keep it from sliding is too slick and it’s so annoying. It’s a sturdy board, no assembly required, but the performance just isn’t good. Doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. I thought it would be cute to have on my counter but the loud noise it makes every time it falls scares the crap outta me and I wish I could return it.

This item if produced properly is very useful, but as many have mentioned the information is hard to read. It’s like they ran out of ink and just sent out the product half way done.
As a remedy, I robbed about a teaspoon of finely ground coffee beans on the carved area in a circular motion with a little pressure applied. it filled the carvings and I discard the rest. It worked for me and made the information more pronounced. I like how it looks now and i would repeat this process as time goes by if needed.
