Gave this as a birthday gift to an 8 year old girl, and she had no trouble doing the bracelet projects on her own. She loved it and was engaged with it for a few weeks, until she had completed everything possible with the provided supplies. Great fun!

Not user friendly – maybe better for older child

I purchased this for my 6 year old since she had been asking about learning to braid but it’s a bit too complicated for her. I ended up doing the braiding and it was a bit challenging for me! The guide that comes with it has some great instructions for doing some complex braids and the string options are really cool. I’d love to have better instructions for knotting the ends for the bracelets. Also, I think the clasp options were a little immature for an 8-19 year old like the product indicates however, my 3 and 6 year old loved them.
