Great occasional special event gift in overall. It looks handsome and fine quality wise. The main problem with this mug is that it’s difficult to balance it in your hand when the mug’s filled completely with your favorite hot beverage. The problem is in the ergonomics. The handle itself seems to be too thin or too shape imbalanced to hold the filled glass reliably. You should practice and learn the best fingers position in order to feel the mug stays in your hand securely especially when no table is around to back it up. Giving that, 2 fingers would go under the handle base with the big one laying on the top controlling the the handle. Controlling the mug reliably while it’s filled with a hot beverage is the main challenge here. If you learn it fine, it’s one of the most elegant piece of a mug under the price.
