Like most girl-oriented lego we’ve tried, it has this characteristic quality of being far more finicky to assemble than most “boy” sets, even up to 9+ age sets weve done. These “girl” sets tend to demand really precise motor control during certain phases that tend to end up causing whole structures to fall apart if slightly too much pressure is applied or the rest of the set isnt held together carefully. They are just structurally lazy, same was true with that smaller size elsa castle with the little snowmen and slide (43194). If you tried to play with it it just fell apart constantly.

That said, my little girl LOVED playing with it and the little characters were a big hit compared to the ordinary size frozen lego characters. Bad instructions, irritating build, great toy in the end!
