I received mine on 1/12 and it stopped working on 1/17. I only use it in the office and intermittently plus 1/15 was a holiday. . The item itself is good and works as expected. My lights and heating still work but the massage blades do not roll anymore. I’m asking for a replacement and will change the rating based on customer service.
Update: While waiting for the replacement, I turned it on again and it worked. It seems that if it is on too long or it gets too hot, it will automatically turn off. I must have been using it for far longer than I thought that day. I’ve been mindful of it ever since and it has worked wonders for my lower back. Definitely recommend. I returned the replacement as soon as I got it.

This massage pillow was way better than expected. It provides two firm, kneading areas that you can place anywhere that needs some attention. I have used it along the length of my back, behind my thighs and calves, under my feet. I originally bought it for my elderly mother to use during longer car rides, when she complains of stiffness – this one has a car plug AND household plug. We have been using it in the living room and have not even gotten it to the car yet! Provided it lasts and does not conk out, I recommend it as great, compact, and easy-to-use massage pillow.

This little pillow packs a major punch. It is a perfect little shiatsu massage that you can use anywhere you need it. I love that it comes with both an plug for the house and the car so I can take it on the go if I need to. It is the perfect alternative to an expensive full back massage chair.

I didn’t have great hopes for this, but thought maybe it could give my poor, tight muscles a little bit of help. Well, I’m in love. It feels amazing, and I’ve already noticed a difference (day 1). I tried it on my neck & shoulders, upper and lower back, thighs, calves, and soles of my feet. All of it was great. The heat was just right, not too hot, but noticeable and soothing. If you aren’t a fan of strong massage, you might not like it, but that’s exactly what my muscles need.
The cord is plenty long enough to reach a nearby outlet. The only thing I do wish is that the on/off control wasn’t so close to the pillow (it’s about a foot away), but that’s kind of necessary to keep it on the cord instead of one of the extensions (the DC outlet plug or the car plug). I do NOT recommend using this while driving.
I got one for myself, and one for my dad for Father’s Day, and I think I’m going to be a hero this year. 🙂
I am going to be very sad when this dies.

Does exactly as it says. BUT Massage action is very strong. I suggest adding light cushioning over it (like small thin pillow). If frail, can be too strong massage motion and produce soreness, and possibly bruising. Try with cushioning until you get effect you want. With these suggestions/precautions in mind, highly recommend! JUST BE AWARE of strong Pressure and Motion unit produces.

I got ripped off on the purchase price for an item that doesn’t work well and now am expected to fork out money for the return shipping to another country. Don’t waste your time or money on this one. The price fluctuates greatly too. $60-$125. Don’t pay top dollar and then get stuck with a junk massager like I did.

Works well for the neck, but not good for the back, legs, shoulders or butt if you have dense muscle tissue or are on the “husky” side. You cannot put much pressure on it since it strains the motors and seems to overheat easily without the heat function being used. I’ve experienced the massager shutting off (most likely due to motor heat) and needs a few hours to operate again (cooldown timeframe).
I will be testing out other automatic massagers for stronger motors and possibly a speed function, but for the price I couldn’t pass this one up. I’d guess it will last about 2 months of use when used every other day for 30 minutes, so you can do the math according to your own frequency of use.
PS –
I bought this massager in Nov 2020. Today, in Aug 2024, I’m still using this for massages on my neck, shoulders, upper mid and lower back & I still love it. It really has helped save thousands of massage dollars over the years.
There is only one type of massage mode with heated and non heated options. But this is all that’s needed to loosen up the tight muscles and relieve pain.

I was so excited to get this massager! In fact, as soon as it showed up on my door step, I opened up the box and started using it right away. And I enjoyed it for hours. I have TERRIBLE back, shoulder and neck pain. And this does a fantastic job at working those muscles.
The kneading pressure is perfect. The heat isn’t too hot but just enough. Others have commented on how it’s uncomfortable and hurts. If you sit with it correctly, it shouldn’t hurt. Don’t put too much pressure up against it.
The reason why it hurts, is because you’re probably hitting muscles that you don’t normally pay attention to. It’s very normal and common to feel sore after a deep tissue massage. But the more you work those muscles, you’ll start to feel so much better. Just like when you work out. You’re sore after for awhile until your muscles get use to it.
Shiatsu is Japanese for finger pressure. They use their fingers, palms, elbows, knees and even feet to apply pressure in circular motion to stimulate the circulation of your blood, helps to release toxins and tension from your muscles, and stimulates your hormonal system.
I absolutely recommend trying this product out!
