Love the fact that it was Willie Nelson. My sister is a huge fan and I knew it would be one of the items that she did not have. She was a little disappointed it did not have the growing medium. I’m guessing soil to start the seeds. Yes, it can be sold at any Home Depot or Lowe’s but the bag you have to buy is huge for the amount of soil you need guess that is nitpicking somewhat. Make sure to always follow the directions if you are using the Chia seeds to be successful.

After filling Willie with water, I noticed that the seeds fell off the bottom of his braids. I dumped the water out and had to let the clay dry out a bit before replacing the dropped off seeds. Buy the seeds in the top of his head never sprouted, and actually got moldy in some spots. Take two.

I've always wanted a chia pet and a bob ross chia pet was a dream come true to get on. So I got one for Christmas. It took me a while to start it but as it was snowing a week ago it was the perfect activity to do while your stuck at home. Now there are people who are saying the mix it too watery and wet not gel like. Apparently those people didn't read the tip on the instructions.

(As a tip it says to add more seeds wait 10 minutes. And it helps the spread get thicker.)

So first when your starting to spread the seeds. Spread it like your spreading icing. Cover the head with plenty of seeds. It says to water it every day. I actually water it one day wait another day then the third day you change the water. Put this head in a deep container. It didn't overflow. But get a deep container. And give it plenty of sunlight. On top of the head take a spray bottle and spray the top of the head. Now i did the beard. So far it looks amazing. So if you want the full look I recommend the hair and the beard. If you follow these instructions it will work. And its exciting to do.

Its fun activity to do it takes time but its a plant so be patient and have fun watching the chia pet grow.
