Is a loud speaker (good), however there SHOULD be a way to reduce the bass it outputs (directly on the speaker), as I frequently listen to talk podcasts or talk MP3s (such as old Howard Stern shows) The problem is frequently the bass will kick in on this speaker and it kind of distorts the audio when there is no bass needed.
More importantly the device seems to go to sleep after 3-5 minutes of no audio being played ( and once again there's no way to turn off this sleep function)

so for example if you have to pause or take a call you, the unit will go to sleep- and you have to walk back over the speaker hold down the power button and power it back on.
Pros:
- battery life is decent to pretty good, I get about 8 to 12 hours of play time
- speaker is capable of putting out loud volume (I don't listen to music really)
- price is pretty low at 25 to $30

To be clear im commenting on my purchase (oct 2023) of: "Portable Bluetooth Speaker, IPX7 Waterproof Wireless Speaker with Colorful Flashing Lights, 25W Super Bass 24H Playtime" (since amazon allows sellers to switch out products but keep the old reviews , i want to be clear). I also bought this myself and was not influenced or paid by anyone to write this review (Again something that shouldnt have to make clear, but do.)

This little speaker gets loud! The lights are annoying if you’re using it for anything other than a dance party… the lights can be turned off so no worries. The only thing it needs is a remote!

Edited to say I was able to program the projector remote to work for the Bluetooth speaker ! So YAY 10/10 recommend

I have only used it one time but am very happy with the speaker. I love the lights on it and the amazing sound from such a small speaker!
It was very easy to connect it to my phone.

The sound is fantastic! Great price for the quality. It does bounce a bit due to the base. And because of that it doesn’t really stay up vertically. The corners are rounded and not flat, so that makes it harder to stand up vertically. But if you lean it against the wall it stays. It’s meant to lay flat down horizontally. It has bumpers on the bottom, so that when you lay it that way it doesn’t bounce around. The battery lasts really long! Hours and hours. I don’t turn on those extra fun lights, which is probably why it lasts so long. I haven’t tested it arounf sand or water. But I’m really happy with this purchase.

Really happy with this speaker. Taken many falls with it and still no damage . Easily gets about 12 hours of playtime at full volume with the lights on . Sound quality is great wish it was a touch louder for high speed riding but it is super loud indoors.

It gives decent sound quality and a satisfactory bass that seems to fill the room. I haven’t had to charge it yet, therefore I would say that it is a long-lasting charge. Nice looking lighting options as sound plays. As far as volume controls, it seems to be better to use the volume controls on the unit itself rather than on the device that it is paired to, as it tends to cut off the sound otherwise. Other than that, overall great value.

I like this portable Bluetooth speaker it’s a nice quality . I use it in my 18 wheeler to listen to podcasts . My only regret is the psychedelic lights . They’re pretty , but distracting . It’s a lovely speaker , volume is perfect for a loud bouncy truck . This would be a great gift for a teen but the lights are very disco like and hard to hear at night. Pretty and works good though

I got this for a gift and ended up keeping it. Give a great sound and works great with Bluetooth. You can’t beat the price.
