As retirement gifts go, this Thoughtfully Gourmet Inspirational Retirement Tea Gift Set will do the job. The inspirational quotes are cute, the glass jar with bamboo lid is attractive, and as long as your recipient drinks tea, this should be well-received. A few thoughts though . . . The jar is attached to the box with a big glob of clear glue which requires superhuman strength to get it off and then a timely session with adhesive remover to get the stickiness off. So if the recipient wants to pull the jar from the box and see it, this is not going to happen gracefully. Also, there is a large sticker the size of the bamboo lid which does pull off but leaves a sticky residue on the bamboo that requires the aforementioned adhesive remover to remove. And if that weren’t enough, there’s a label that runs the entire side of the glass jar that required a long soaking session and then about fifteen minutes of scraping for removal. I just mention all this because I know I’m not the only person who likes to keep cool containers like this for another purpose once the tea is gone. One last thought, although these teas do taste good, they are very common, and nothing too exciting. If your recipient is a true tea aficionado, I would splurge for some unusual teas rather than the fairly common teas in this set. Four of these teas have caffeine and one is herbal, something else to keep in mind when purchasing.

This is a cute gift set. The jar is nice quality and the set is nicely packaged. Getting the jar out of the box is really hard though. I thought I was going to break the jar trying to separate it from the box. The jar and box are glued together with insanely strong glue. Also, once you take the jar out, I was able to get the sticker off the lid cleanly but the sticker running up the side of the glass does not come off easily. The teas themselves are fine. They taste okay but aren’t the highest quality teas you can get. If you’re gifting to a tea aficionado, I don’t think I would recommend this set. For an average person who drinks tea every once in a while, the included tea bags should be fine.

The tea comes in a glass jar with a lid for easier storage. It looks very giftable. The tea bag wraps have quotes. It’s cute to read while brewing a tea bag. There are 5 different aromas. I expected much more and was disappointed with the taste. They all have almost the same taste, not rich, not flavorful. It’s not for my liking.

This gift pack is exactly as shown and is nicely packaged and perfectly giftable. However, I wish I had looked more closely at the pictures. The lemon honey and lavender teas are artificially flavored, and the jasmine is “nature identical flavored.” What in the world does that mean? Now I’m questioning if it’s even appropriate to give to someone as a gift. Certainly not anyone who has any real taste in tea. If I received it myself, I would be tempted to think the gifter was oblivious. It’s no so bad that I would be afraid to actually drink the tea – I’ve tried way sketchier teas, but I’m just confused because everything else about it seems to be good quality. I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt and giving it 4 stars, but I really wish I could give it 3.5.

Comes with a variety of tea flavors which is great for a gift. The flavor of the tea itself is matches the description and strong and not bitter. I like the quotes on the bag since it can inspire the retired for the day. The jar is a cool thing to store the tea bags and can be re-used afterwards. Overall great tea gift!

Thoughtfully Gourmet Inspirational Retirement Tea Gift Set comes in a glass jar. It would make a great retirement gift. I love the little sayings on the tea packaging. Great selection of teas, but a little weak.

(Thoughtfully Gourmet, Inspirational Retirement Tea Gift Set, Includes Glass Storage Jar and 5 Flavors of Tea with Inspirational Quotes, 19.99 Set of 25)
What a well packaged and presenting tea set. The glass storage jar is nice and holds the tea bags very well. This looks very giftable. It contains five bags of each flavor of tea: chamomile tea (chamomile flowers), lavender tea (black tea, artificial flavor), lemon honey tea (green tea, artificial flavors), jasmine tea (green tea, artificial flavor) , English breakfast tea (black tea). I do not see a best by date on the package and I’m not a big fan of the artificial flavors…
