Cute little crustacean with nice color. I like that this utensil holder keeps the utensil elevated rather than resting on a surface. It’s cleaner. Minor complaint is that it isn’t the most stable when freely standing on the counter. Still worth it.

Bought this and a few other kitchen gadgets as a Christmas present for my husband. While the item is cute, it is completely non functional. Disappointed at the quality of the item as it couldn’t hold any utensil whatsoever….
Updated Review: While the gadget was still unable to hold any utensil, the customer service for this item was outstanding. I didn’t ask for a refund but received one, given our disappointment that the item did not meet its intended use. Will definitely purchase here again because they care about their customers.

This is so cute AND useful to hold your stirring spoons. With the claws being silicone, they can expand to hold different thickness of spoon handles.
The lower body of the crab detaches allowing you to use the bottom claws to hold cooking utensils too!

This crabby keeps cooking utensils completely out of contact with countertops and other surfaces. The construction is durable and clearly the design is attractive. Certain utensils can fall out easily, specifically, those with a thin handle and a large opposing end – also, things that are particularly wide/broad may be too big for the claws. It does work well with most all of what I have, though, which includes: wooden, plastic, silicone and metal utensils.
My nitpicking summation is… it could use better balance, both when standing freely or wedged onto the side of a pot. Maybe using a spring clamp, with a more sturdily designed footing would perfect this neat accessory.

Cute as can be, and it works! You have to balance the spoon a bit depending on how heavy it is, and/or spin the crab sideways, so he won’t fall over. He sits on all manner of pots–you have to make sure his front and back legs are on each side of the rim. No signs of being damaged by heat, though he’s been in use every day. Some things are worth a little $ just to make the mundane fun.
