Easy to assemble, but small wire circles that link the “wood” pieces together can be very “weak”. If you gift this for someone with poor dexterity, I would link the pieces for them as they are very tiny. The pieces themselves are tricky to write on due to the grain of “wood”, DO NOT use sharpie pen as the letters will “bleed” and become blurred as the ink follows the grain. Disappointed with the visual due to the way the pieces hang. You can not see the names because the pieces hang twisted. I would not recommend purchasing this item as there are other products with less headache.

I wanted this for my mom so she can remember all the birthdays. This looks good. Wood is thin. Hope it can hold lot hanging names. Over all good product. Was thinking if we get pen to write a name with it would be better.

We got this for my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day. The entire family was able to write their information on each circle which made it even more special. Also, it’s great that there are extras, we were not worried about messing up or having the little ones not get a chance. Really great product

Thanks to this beautiful plaque, my wife will always remember our extended family's birthdays. My wife gets so upset with herself when one of our niece's, nephew's, cousin's, grandparent's, etc. birthdays go by and she realizes that we didn't send a birthday card, much less call to extend birthday wishes.

Now, we do not have to worry about any of that! This aesthetically appealing board is beautifully decorated and allows us to write the names and birthdates of family members on little wooden hearts that we hang under the month that corresponds with the person's birthday.

It also comes with little wooden circles that you can use to either separate the hearts to make longer chains. Or, what we are doing with our circular wooden pieces is keeping track of anniversaries, or other dates that we want to help family and friends celebrate! Of course, you can always flip flop the idea and put anniversaries on the hearts and birthdays on the circles.

It is nice to let family and friends know that you are being thoughtful towards them, and it is really great to know that my wife will never be upset again due to missing a birthday or anniversary of loved ones!

If you are someone who feels like my wife does when you miss sending a birthday card, or if you are a husband who wants to reduce the amount of times that your spouse might get upset about something similar, this is a perfect gift for any holiday!

**Pro Husband Tip #147** Buying a gift for your wife "just because you were thinking of her" gets you way more 'points' than when you buy something for her because of an occasion. HOWEVER, with certain gifts, like this one, make sure you preface your explanation for the gift with something like, "Even though you have an Impeccable Memory, having something like this not only helps to makes room in that beautiful mind of yours to help you stay on top of the MANY other things you do for everyone, but it also helps to make room in your memory so that you never forget how much you mean to me, and how much I love and appreciate you,". Of course you can make your own variation of that; just don't set yourself up for her to say, "Oh.. I guess you think I'm so forgetful now that I Need one of these!", in which case you might have to back paddle and say that although you bought the gift for her, it was really meant to help YOU to never forget the dates of anniversaries and birthdays...

No problem. I've been doing this for a while..This birthday reminder board is reasonably priced. The pro husband tip is just a free bonus. ;-)
