The item had the appearence of a dress and on further investigation also functions as one. I was left with nil resonable way to resolve the issue due to large distance to nearest free return location.

So the box itself is nice. Its small but its still a nice gift…however, you have to manually turn it to play the music. Its not like you wind it and let it go and it plays the tune. This makes it nearly impossible to play the actual song. Me and my wife and 3 kids tried numerous times and couldn’t get it to play the song right. Its nice a dresser/bookshelf piece to look at. If you are trying to the hear the song then I would look for one that winds and plays.

It was very small music box and difficult to understand the song unless you cranked it quickly but, overall, a sweet and sentimental gift for my husband on our 1st wedding anniversary.

Beautiful little box with exquisite craftmanship! Very giftable and sweet. Gift from my husband at a stressful time in our lives and this loving gift made my whole day!
What I would’ve liked a little different: Music has to be hand cranked and there’s not an “auto-play” of sorts. So depending on how fast you turn the crank is what the music sounds like. I haven’t mastered the speed yet… The words in the heart are VERY small. Being an old person, even with 3.0 readers on, I still was straining to read what it said. You young whipper-snappers with the good eyesight may do just great though.
Overall this is a fantastic present for the love in your life. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

Got this for my husband (32) as part of our 6th anniversary present. I was a little nervous after reading a few comments, but it’s PERFECT.
