This set bailed me out from my stripped screws holding my IACV stuck. I first had the bit going normal but it wasnt cutting the metal screw, so I used reverse function on my drill and boom it cut the metal like butter … I left it on reverse then flipped the bit over and BOOOOM the stripped bolt came right out. Great set!

Bought for my son for his bday. He finally used them a month ago. I asked if they broke or anything and he said, I was waiting for it but they held up aren’t poorly made. He will be using them more. Nice little gift for the fixer in the family

After I realized I had the tips backwards, these worked perfectly to remove some ruined screws. The narrow tip is for drilling clockwise. The wider tip is for grabbing surface area and extracting the screw counter-clockwise. You do need to have a pretty good drill or power driver that can deliver some torque at low speeds. I used an impact driver (which doesn’t strip any more screws).

Exactly what I needed to remove several stripped screws in my bathroom door hinges. We are in the process of remodeling our bathroom and when removing the doors found several stripped screws holding the hinges to the door frames. This set worked exactly like shown and helped me remove the screws in minutes.

This is perfect. My husband always has screws that he can’t get out so I got him this. He loves it. He’s used it on getting screws out of wood that otherwise wouldn’t have come out. It’s a great buy and highly needed if you can’t get a screw out with a screwdriver.

Removed a NASTY stuck screw with a destroyed head. I’d give the product a 5 but I don’t think the steel is quite hard enough. But if you’re careful, they’ll grip pretty good. The drill side dulls quickly. DO NOT use a powered drill to extract a badly-disfigured screw. As another reviewer wrote–and this was VERY helpful–after drilling, put the extractor side into a tap-wrench handle and GO SLOWLY.

We live in a rental and all of the screws were caked with paint and in horrible shape. After many attempts to remove them with just a drill most of them were too stripped. For the price, the reviews and the tool we needed, we took a shot with this screw extractor kit. It still was a bit of a challenge to figure out which extractor end would do the job but ultimately we were able to get it done. Good purchase.
