The silicone piece in the lid is for pretty much any standard size straws. But it can easily be removed which takes away from the security of your spills. Ran it through the dishwasher several times now and the decals hold up!! Very well done and super happy. Glass isn’t to thin or easily breakable either. The lid stays on well but you definitely cant hold it completely upside down and expect nothing to come out.

The bats are so cute on this cup. I love that it has a wooden lid and straw, though I will most likely use our metal straws as I like mine on the longer side. I hand washed this before and after first use, with light sponging on the outside so I don’t damage the bats (just in case). The lid stays on pretty well, but don’t turn it upside down or think about giving this to a young kid.

Don’t get me wrong, I love this cup. It’s adorable and the fact that it looks like a spooky mason jar only makes me love it that much more. Also..I love that the bamboo lid comes with a silicone gripper to hold the straw in place, because that’s actually extremely helpful. I hate having to wash this cup, though. As I have to take the lid off, remove the “O-Ring” that holds it into place inside the cup and wash those both separately. It’s not a huge pain, but it’s can be a bit of a challenge to get the o-ring to fit back around the bamboo lid, at times.
I also like that this cup came with it’s own cleaning device for the metal straw. Personally, I prefer my straws to have the rubber gripper at the top, as I have a tendency to hit my teeth on the metal part accidentally no matter who designed or made the cup. I think you can purchase the little rubber pieces that fit on these metal straws right here on amazon. They fit most standard straw sizes, and really come in handy.
I’ve handwashed this cup several times, and so far, so good. No fading of the graphics, no issues with mold, always a simple task to clean out the straw. It’s actually a really cool little cup. Granted, it only holds about one can of soda (without ice) so just keep that in mind. Otherwise, it’s a cool novelty piece or gift.

This is adorable! I love the simple Halloween design, a subtle nod to the goth girlies who still want a basic girl drink to carry around. It is a super fragile glass though and it broke within the first usage because the glass is just fragile, so don’t get this for younger kids because it will break on them. Otherwise, it’s perfect and would make a great gift.

This is a really cute cup and I loved it until I used it and realized that whatever they used to print the bats on the glass was smudging onto my hands and getting me very dirty

Got this glass because I love bats (Halloween or not) and it’s cute. I’m unlikely to use the lid and straw, though they do fit nicely on and in the glass. But I admit — I ran this through the dishwasher. Everything in my kitchen goes through the dishwasher, so this was no exception. It came out fine. I suspect the “hand wash” instructions are because of the lid/straw (which were not put in the dishwasher), and the bat design on the glass. The design wasn’t harmed by a trip through the cookware cycle with added prewash. Top rack only, of course, but it held up well and is still cute. I’m happy.
However, if you feel better hand washing it, I won’t judge.

I love all things gothy and spooky cute and this glass is no exception. I adore the little bats all over this glass and I like the wooden cover with the silicone section for a straw to go through. I always have a glass of water at my desk throughout the day and night so the cover will be nice for keeping dust or other foreign objects out of my beverage.
The only thing is that the silicone piece for the straw to poke through can’t really accommodate wider straws very well. It’s mostly for standard size straws. I use a nice, wide straw so I had to remove the silicone piece so my straw could have some wiggle room. That’s the only thing about this bat glass but that’s a minor issue since the silicone piece can be removed. I don’t know how easy it’ll be trying to get that piece back in though if I decide to start using standard straws.
The glass isn’t really thick on this. I’d say it’s about as thick as a basic water glass. It’s not so thin that it feels like it’ll easily break though. It’s a standard thickness. The wooden cover is thicker and also has silicone around the edges for a tighter fit on the glass.
Overall, I love this bat glass and recommend it if you use standard size straws.

I love the spooky print on this! Super fun and it’s probably my new favorite cold brew glass. The pattern has seemed to hold up to the dishwasher fine so far. The straw is a little small, not a boba straw, but works well and no complaints. Love it!
