The lighting is good. The kids liked the gift. The only thing I would do is decorate or add it to the present for them to decorate so it’s not so plain. Decorative duck tape would give it a boost.

I bought these before as gifts and I could tell you from my daughter’s use you might have some LEDs that go out and that’s more indicative of battery getting low. If not then you know you’ll have an issue but you’ll have to take up with the manufacturer.
