Just invert and the lovely blue light illuminates the food being seasoned, and the grinding motor activates automatically too. Right it and the light and motor turn off automatically. They are stylish for the dining table or counter top when not in use too.

Bought these in the copper finish and they are really pretty. We had the grinder shakers previously but of course it takes two hands for those. These are so easy to use since you just flip it over with one hand and the built in grinder does all the work! They work great!

I bought this set back in September to have when we moved to a new house and use in my brand new kitchen. Needless to say it was packed for awhile and just opened recently. I opened and filled both units. One works fine and I love the concept. However, the other unit, the tip falls out and will not screw back in correctly. Obviously it is defective. I tried calling Amazon to see if I could contact the seller to send just one replacement but since it is well past my return date they said they would but I would have to pay a restocking fee! All I would like to do is contact the seller, but that seems impossible. Therefore, as soon as you get these, open them and try to use them because a gravity driven shaker is useless if the tip and all the salt falls out when turned over.

The Gravity Electric Pepper & Salt Shaker is a great product! But unfortunately it didn’t even last a year so this is my second set that I’ve bought. Not exactly sure what happened to the first set but the salt shaker stopped working. I thought it was the batteries, so I replaced them but it still didn’t work. So even though the product didn’t make it a year I still gave it a 5 stars because its an amazing product! I had used the manual hand grinders for years, but they were a pain that would hurt your hands. These are simple to assemble & super easy to use even someone with arthritis in their hands could use them. The blue light on them makes it where you know when it’s releasing salt & pepper and they look great in my kitchen. I’d definitely recommend this to everyone that’s looking for a good salt & pepper shaker. Hopefully these will last a little longer this time around.

I’ve had 2 sets of battery operated S&P grinders over 4 years, one lasted 3, the other only 1 year. I couldn’t purchase the 3 year ones anymore. I saw this set on TikTok influencer Mississippi Kween’s fake cooking show, which she creates out of her kitchen. Since she is very down to earth, it seemed like this product was worth a try as she promoted, as I really missed my battery op grinders. I purchased mine 3/2023, the only complaint I had is the salt comes out fast and you get a lot. You gotta be fast, do a quick turn, it puts the right amount on for us. I wish they could tweak that speed or quantity put out a bit in design.
Pepper mill was working great for 9 months and quit this week. Thought it was batteries, as it was slowing down over the holidays… nope. You can’t get to the grinder to see or pull out a stuck peppercorn, bummer. I gave up and bought a cheap store grinder until I could research the warranty. Fortunately, in the researching today product description to see if there was a 1 year warranty ($29 is not a small fee for such item.) I found a tip from the seller in the product description: if it stops working suddenly loosen the grind to extra course and then turn it over to grind normally. I did that and gave it a few taps before grinding. It slowly started working and after a few more taps, it worked the jammed peppercorn out. It’s working fine now. I hope this resolution provided by the seller continues to work as my battery grinders tend to jam more than a manual grinder.
I think overall it’s a good product, 4 stars for grinder accessibility. In 9 months it has been very tough, doesn’t go through a ton of batteries like some I’ve owned. However, the other 2 you could see the grinder and the jam, one had the grinder where it was accessible with a chopstick or toothpick to “poke” out the jam.
I did laugh at myself though, for not having the logic to loosen the grinder up a lot and give it a try, instead of going immediately assuming it was a “goner” because there was no way to get to the grinder part.

This product was easy to use and set up. Loved the ease of it all. Unfortunately the salt shaker stopped working after 3 months, changed the batteries but it’s still wouldn’t work. I wish it would last longer than 3 months as I was past the warranty date.
