This product is dangerous. The edges of the metal melting bowl are SHARP. I was expecting the danger associated with this class of product like heat, so was careful while using, but when cleaning I was shocked to get a large cut while scrubbing. The edge is equivalent to a freshly opened metal can. I would not recommend this item if you plan to use it with people you care about.

I think the warmer needs to get hotter to keep the chocolate melted it never is fully melted for dipping

This fondue set was a hit at a holiday party! I was worried it wouldn’t melt the chocolate per some other reviews, but it melted it just fine. I also purchased fondue chocolate which was a huge block so chocolate so it of course it may take a little longer to melt than as quickly as little chunks of chocolate, but it still melted nicely. I also left the fondue heat on “melt” function the whole time at the party for at least 4-5 hours and it didn’t burn or overheat. The compartments also held a huge box of strawberries cut up, so if you get 2 boxes of regular sized strawberries, it will fit perfectly. It’s super easy to clean and put away. Highly recommend this fondue set!

I love fondu, Had it for the first time in Switzerland in October. I have used it four times already, very nice size and is enough for a family of 7. The grandkids loved it. SO EASY TO USE AND CLEAN. Well worth the price.

This has 3 deep sections for food around the melting pot. I used it for chocolate fondue and the chocolate chips were melted in minutes. The chocolate wasn’t too hot but was a perfect consistency for dipping without being too watery. Really impressed with this. Easy to clean up, well made. Bought it for a friends party and now will buy one for myself.

We bought 2 of them to make chocolate and cheese fondue for my sons 10th birthday (he looooves fondue). It worked perfectly for chocolate as expected. Melted quickly without scorching the chocolate. Delicious.
The cheese however wouldn’t stay melty enough. Per the instructions, I made the cheese fondue on a pot on the stove and added it to the dish to keep it warm for dipping. The plate wasn’t warm enough for a traditional gruyere and Swiss cheese fondue. Maybe Cheese Wiz would stay melted?
All-in-all, great for chocolate, not for cheese.
