The clock, which runs on a single AA battery, is push fitted into the decorative Perspex plinth and although easily removed for altering time or replacing battery, it is quite tightly held in place. The clock itself has a silent sweep and it’s very decorative but easy to read face has been set into a Perspex plinth. The front of the clock has been engraved with some nice age related prose which gives the finishing touches to the unit.

In summary, this is a nice clock which can be easily cleaned and maintained and a lovely gift to someone special.

It arrived packaged well and securely. The clock comes presented in a lovely blue gift box and you receive a greeting card plus envelope so that you can write a personalised message.

The clock itself measures 8 x 6 x 3 inches and has some weight to it. It truly is very elegant and has lovely engraving on it.

It runs via 1 x AA battery which isn’t included and is also a silent clock.

It’s a timeless piece which is a lovely gift for a special person reaching a significant milestone. It also comes in other milestone Birthdays too so a nice variety.

At the current price of £69.99 I would say it’s reasonable for the quality and I’m looking forward to gifting to my uncle.
