While it was interesting watching the pods of soil “grow” and I truly enjoyed doing this quick project with one of my daughters, the makers of this packed about 1/10 the amount of seeds that SHOULD have been packed. Why skimp on the seeds? Oh, thanks for the kelp pack. Seriously, Dollar General sells more seeds than this for 4 for a $1. I wish I had taken pictures of the seeds in the baby Ziplock bags. It was comical.

What’s the point of all of this if you have to use tweezers to get out the seeds in a few packages? NO… I’m not exaggerating. Yes, make sure you’re wearing your eyeglasses so you can see the miniscule seeds. It’s sitting a sunroom. I meticulously found a balance of water, warmth and sun to get these things going within a couple of days. After that… it’s been a slow burn. The only ones that have “done” anything are the Curled Chervil, Rosemary and Basil but even then, it’s so sparse, it’s sad. The Cilantro started growing well and then it shriveled. As you can see, the Thyme, Lemon Balm and Oregano had about one sprout that has been perpetually stunted. I suppose, you’re paying for the baby planter pots?
