I know I can’t use it until next year, but I really liked the idea of this cool desk calendar. It’s a really decent size and the numbers are carved beautifully and clearly into the wood. The wood is unfinished, so I would definitely keep it away from water. However, there are no splits in the wood nor any gaps in the side. There are twelve sides and none of the months repeat at all. It doesn’t take up too much space, so fitting it in even on a really packed desk should be easy. It comes with a cool card inside which also makes it really easy to gift. I highly recommend it.

I took a peek at this because it is going to be a Christmas present for my husband this year. What made me want to get this is its shape. it is unique and my husband is really into DND..So it kind of fits the theme. It is unusual that the months are represented by numbers rather than the names of the months, but that’s fine. I really like it and I know my husband will as well when I gift it to him.

It's a nice idea, and maybe I just got a bad one, but the actual item is VERY hard to make out the numbers. In the pictures, they appear to be easy to see, especially if you zoom in, but in real life, they are barely able to be made out. You can tell they are there, but the actual numbers are difficult to read. If they had filled the numbers with a darker color, or even just the darker brown of the picture it would be so much easier to read.

So, it is possible that mine is just one of the :should have been in the reject" pile of calendars, but I can only rate it on what I can see, which isn't very much. Strangely, my picture is actually easier to see than it is in real life. Maybe because I used a down light when I took the photo.

First and foremost,

This item surprised me for how clean the font was etched into the wood. I was expecting some flaws due to mass production and I was really pleasantly surprised by the clean line work.

This is light weight, maybe a little fragile, but it does a solid job of being a cute gift for those friends or loved ones that are interested in dodecahedral activities.

This is such a cute and unique calendar. I love the cube design and the wooden material. The wood is very lightweight and easy to read as well. The days of the week and months are written all around the cube so you simply turn to the month and you're done. It easily fits on a desk as well and doesn't take up much space. So cute!. Great purchase and a good value for the price.

This wooden calendar is a timely work of art that also serves a practical purpose.

It is beautifully crafted and lightweight and would be a lovely addition to a desk or coffee table.

It has a couple things going against it, though: The months are marked with numbers rather than names, but perhaps it is obvious that 7 is July. Also, I find the dates a bit hard to read under normal lighting.

At the current listing of almost $24, this is a bit pricey for am item with just year of of practical usage. It would be a shame to toss it out when 2025 rolls around, but the dates are not going to match again until 2052.

I would recommend this as a gift or a gadget for yourself if you really like calendars, as I do, but it’s a bit impractical because of the numbered months and readability.

I cam giving this four out of five stars, but I will revisit this review in the months ahead if my opinion changes — particularly when 2024 (or 2052) rolls around.

This wooden, 12-sided calendar is unique and interesting to look at. The inscribed dates are nicely engraved and easy to read. The calendar is lightweight. This is a beautiful item for your desk or for giving as a gift. It is a calendar for one year so I do think it is a bit overpriced. However, if it is a gift for someone that is hard to buy for then go for it because it would make an awesome gift!!! It is well made and the wood looks good without any cracks or defects. Overall, I find this a very interesting item and I plan to keep it for myself instead of giving it as a gift!!!!
