Works really well and easy to figure out! This kit definitely makes a bit of a mess while doing it, but clean up was easy enough (even with plaster and mold material). We followed the directions, but used a drop of olive oil instead of baby oil or massage oil and it worked perfectly fine. The casting turned out wonderfully and now it is just drying out for a few weeks before we paint it.

I read all the instructions, followed them step by step, the disappointment I had after trying to get my 14 year olds dog paw in my hand was real. The quality for the price was just not there. Now it could have been me, it was my first time but for the price I wish it turned out. My girl is gone over the rainbow bridge, sucks I don’t have her paw casted.

We read instructions, watched YouTube instructions and did exactly as they said. When we pulled our hands out and I looked in the hole I cried thinking that we had ruined it by the looks of it. We poured the plaster, waited for 3.5 hours then hesitated to take the form away thinking it would look horrible. When we got the form pulled away, I cried because it was perfect! Fifty years celebrated perfectly with this wonderful sculpture to have forever! Thank you for this great product!

This was a nice gift for my dad. It was fun for the kids to do, but not as easy as you would think. Instructions were good, but still hard to get it as perfect as you would want. Keep in mind this will take days and days and days to dry before you can gift, so not something you can do a couple of days before. It’ll also take some time to fix up imperfections. Much more work than what I anticipated, but overall, a cool gift idea, perfect or not.

Accidentally ordered 2 (my fault) and planned to return the extra one until I used this one for my elderly parents hands and love the way it turned out. Now I’m going to keep the accidental extra one and use it also. My parents are in their 80s and my father has dementia. This was quick and easy to do and was actually kinda fun. I love the way it turned out. I will treasure this forever. <3

My son and his girlfriend did this craft over the weekend. It was charming and the final product is fantastic!! They did a pinkie promise, which I thought was unique. The kit comes with everything you need: directions, casting stone and molding powder, table cloth, plastic gloves, detailing pin & stick, paintbrush, and plastic knife. They felt the directions were easy to follow. Overall, for the price, I think this is a great craft that is not not just for romantic partners, but anyone that wants to capture a moment. For example, you can make a mold of a parent and child (parent/grandparent/godparent), kids (siblings), any number of combinations. I recommend it.
