I almost didn’t buy this because of a few bad reviews. It’s definitely plastic and a faux wood lid. I’m super picky about quality, however it doesn’t look cheap at all. Love it!!

Lies. This isn't worth your money nor your time. It looks nothing like the picture provided and absolutely is not made of wood at all. It's all plastic and is worth about $5.00 in all actuality really disappointed and will never ever purchase an item from said seller again. Have a nice day.

This lives next to the sofa. The top is the same color as the floor, and it's small enough that I can scoot it under the end table. When I'm sitting on the sofa, all manner of bits of trash manage to find their way to me. I didn't want a waste basket in the living room; I didn't want collections of detritus to gather on the end table; and I didn't want to make repeated trips to the kitchen trash can. This little darling is the perfect solution. It opens and closes with a touch. It's very easy to empty and keep clean, inside and out. I haven't had it long enough to vouch for its durability, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't hold up for a very long time indeed, and for the price, I figure it's a safe bet. Both 👍🏼👍🏼!

I was having an issue with my dogs trash-can surfing when I wasn't in the room. I didn't want to get a trash can with a removable lid and I found this trash can option. It is PERFECT. The lid shuts securely and opens with the push of a finger. My dogs haven't been able to open it! The only issue I am having is my husband has (accidentally) thrown away the inner trash bag holder ring on BOTH of my trash cans. That ring is paramount to holding the trash bag inside the can and you can tuck the top of the trash bag inside the can once you put the ring back inside the can so you don't have the liner hanging over the edge on the outside of the can. I am hoping I can purchase new rings now. Otherwise, this is a great trash can.

I liked the taller, rectangular-shaped, sleek looking bin and legs as pictured. The colour of the bin along with the long, wood-looking legs fit my asthetic perfectly. However, this is not what I received. It is short and round with short, tan-coloured legs. Disappointed is an understatement! 🥺 There was nothing wrong with the actual garbage can and if it was pictured the way it came I would have given 5 stars.

This summer I switched from a larger inside the cabinet, built in trash can to a small circular pedal bin I was using in one of the bathrooms and moved it to the kitchen with no regrets except for the way the chrome looked. The smaller waste bin helped eliminate the ocasional fruit fly problem we experienced in the warmer months.

Now that I’ve gotten used to the smaller footprint and more frequent trips to dispose the contents, I was looking for an alternative that would look better and came across these three clean designs by WDPUCHU. Don’t be put off by the construction (100% plastic), the material serves the purpose. It’s a good value piece that would cost more if different materials were used.

PROS: sleek design, compact size, plastic material is easy to assemble, easy to clean and sanitize. Can second purpose clear plastic produce bags.

CONS: Durability Questions - the faux wood finish came off the plastic a little bit after the removal of the circular “push” to open sticker on the top cover. This makes me think that this piece will not age well so I put a clear silicone dot sticker on the same place and that should mitigate the premature wear and tear of the faux wood finish in the spot you press to open the cover. The little plastic clasp / locking & unlocking mechanism of the top cover appear so fragile, that it gives the impression it may not last six months. Will come back to take away stars if it breaks. Still… it’s worth the risk for the price.
