I opted for this version specifically for our fireplace, and its great! We don't like all the mess of burning real logs and the fake ones fill the house with smoke. I highly recommend this! A friend had a smaller, circular tabletop fire pit, which I loved.

My search found this one which suits us better. We love the faux rock look, although if that's not your thing there are others that are plain grey concrete.

It actually provides some warmth which is so surprising!

So easy to use. Adds a really nice ambience to outdoor seating. 90%+ isoproply alcohol works as well as bio-ethanol... the former burns dirtier and leaves some soot around the edges but not a huge deal. Either way, both can be purchased online by the gallon... it does go fast and I prefer not having a bunch of individual plastic containers to dispose of.

If you have any outdoor seating, I highly recommend this! It even works indoors, although I'd def recommend the bio fuel for that purpose. And no low tables... especially if dogs or children are present. Use your own discretion. :)

I love that we can use this indoors and can relocate it from room to room in the house. We mostly use it on our fireplace mantle instead of burning our gas logs which are so expensive to use. I’ve even placed it on the bathroom counter (safely away from anything combustible) when I was taking a bath for a cozy ambience. Have brought it into our kitchen and even took it to a family member’s house for a party. So many uses. It burns between 30 to 45 minutes totally full. I don’t recommend 90% alcohol because it set off the smoke alarm in our house when we tried that, but 70% alcohol worked fine with no smoke or scent. Love this and would purchase again! Makes a good gift too.

Easy to use – we use 70% Isopropyl and it burns great. No issues w/ smoke or smell. Pour in about 1/2 of a quart and it burns for about 30-40 minutes. Since the quart costs about $3 – it costs around $1.50 for each burn.
We don’t light again – something about pouring a flammable liquid on a hot item. You can find YouTube videos on dangers of these items. They are safe – just don’t be stupid. Fill it – wipe up any spill – take the container away and then lite.

This was a little surprise for my fiancé for Valentines and it was excellent! 10 minutes after opening the box and reading the directions we had a fire going. It’s excellent quality, nice looking, puts off a decent sized flame with very little heat and almost no smoke. We loved it and very pleased.

Love this! We use it in our fireplace instead of wood. Makes a great fire and no smoke, or pollution. Customer service from the manufacturer/ seller is fantastic. We had some minor issues and the seller resolved everything quickly. Wish all sellers would stand by their products as Houswise. With wood products being banned for use in fireplaces, this is a great and sustainable alternative. Use inside, or outside…the fire is great as is the ambiance it creates.

Nice little flame on my coffee table. Burns about 1 hour or so using 70% alcohol. No excessive heat.

This little fire pit is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I love it. It gives off a lot more heat than I thought it would and I’m pleased that I can use it indoors or out. One thing I must note, do not burn 99 inside as it will create a bit of smoke and most likely set off your alarm as it did to ours. For indoor use we use 70, outdoor we can go full blast with the 99!

Take it out of the box and use! Runs through fuel pretty quickly but we love it!

This is the perfect size for making S’mores or for simply sitting around enjoying the dancing flames. I love that you can use it indoors or outdoors. You just pour a little of the liquid fuel in the base. I add probably an inche worth and it will go for around 20 mins. There is a lid you can smoother the flame out with. It’s a heavy stone and looks very pretty! Small enough you can move it where ever you want, or take it to someone else’s house. Glad we got this instead of a big outdoor fire pit.
