We recently moved out of the city and now have some land where we also have a firepit. My hubby really enjoys a good fire – the fire starting kit literally made his eyes light up. He was so pumped to use it – and it worked GREAT! He’s used it numerous times already and has asked for another set for our camping gear.

Along with the fire starting kit, there are a number of other awesome items. Both my husband and I are picky about the smells of soaps and candles and we both absolutely LOVE the smell of the coffee grit soap and the cedar/sandlewood candle. They both provide light earthy aromas which is right up our alley!

I was also curious about the quality of the knife – it’s also a winner! We have already used it a number of times and it definitely does the job. It’s sharp and high quality!

The coffee mug is now my hubby’s favorite coffee mug. I thought we would pack it up with our camping gear – instead he tried it out and insisted we keep it out. He loves that it keeps his coffee hot while he’s working – no need to get up a microwave it for the 4th time in a day. Haha!

Finally (but certainly not last) is that the contents come in the perfect gift box and ready to go. As a working mom, I love it when I don’t have to add another item to my “to do” list and the fact that this came packaged in a great box that any guy would like was another huge plus!

I’ll definitely be purchasing this set again for the other guys in our family!

I honestly wanted to dive into this thing as soon as I got it, but it’s so nicely put together I wasn’t able to without destroying the gift wrapping. As soon as the person opened it at the gift exchange, I knew I had screwed up. I should’ve kept this thing for myself.

You can read the description as far as what’s inside, what I can tell you is that it’s all decent quality stuff. A lot of times you get junk in these boxes, but everything included here looks and feels really good.

So, next time, there’s a gift exchange, order two. Because I can guarantee you’ll want one for yourself.
